The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that its upcoming program year will include several nationally recognized featured speakers.
Jonathan Tisch, one of the most successful chief executives in the travel and tourism industry, spoke at Secrets to Success: Featuring Jonathan Tisch on September 23 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Tisch answered questions from NBC10 anchor Terry Ruggles and described how the Tisch family grew a summer camp in New Jersey into one of America’s largest corporations, the Loews Corporation.

Veteran broadcaster Tom Brokaw will be the featured speaker at the Chamber’s 208th Annual Meeting on October 22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Brokaw, interim moderator for Meet the Press and NBC Special News Correspondent, will discuss the upcoming Presidential election, the global economy, and his latest book "Boom! Voices of the Sixties: Personal Reflections of the ’60s and Today."

Dan Pink, best-selling author and contributing editor at Wired and Yahoo! Finance, will address Cultivating Corporate Creativity event on October 28, an event presented in partnership with the Arts & Business Council. Pink, an expert on innovation, competition, and the changing world of work, will provide advice on how smart companies can use creative business environments to pull ahead of the competition.

Abby Joseph Cohen, President of the Global Markets Institute and Senior Investment Strategist at Goldman Sachs, will be the featured speaker on January 13 at the 2009 Economic Outlook Conference, presented in partnership with Sovereign Bank.
